Holy crap, y'all... last night was opening night for Hello Dolly!
First: How in the world is it time for that already????? Time has flown...
Second: WE DID IT!! It wasn't perfect, I admit, but we have *such* a talented cast, y'all. I'm beyond blessed to be working with these people.
Ok.... I have to admit.... I'm ready for the play to be over. As fun as it is, I'm ready to not be driving so much and spending my evenings away. What I'm not ready to be done with? My cast mates. I've made some really good friends, and I find myself praying that they stick around in my life. But even if they don't, they've made this summer memorable for me. They've made it a summer full of laughing and hugs.
A special tribute to those I've clicked with the most (Ocean excluded simply because we came into the play already best friends): Mikah a.k.a. Nj, Austin, Rachel C, Alyssa, Tori, and Jordan. I'm gonna miss everyone, but especially these guys. BUT lets not dwell on that right now....
To my real life friends: If you're in the area and can come see the play, please do! If you need info on how to get tickets, just email me.
Lastly, for graduation, one of my gifts, from Laina, was a little box with Bible verses written on it. Well, I've decided I'm going to focus on a verse a week, and I'm going to share them with you. This week I'm reading this one : "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."- Revelation 4:11
Shalom,
I"M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!
ReplyDeletealso, you guys are really the only ones that catch your mistakes. 9 times out of 10 the audience will have NO CLUE that you just totally screwed up. HA!
Thank you :D
DeleteI can only think of one part that the audience would have picked up on. (the orchestra missed their cue and didn't start when they were supposed to so there was a big pause. Thankfully one of the actresses on stage was great and did a little improv!)
