I cling to Him

There of those times in life when you find out that some of your friends, were really just faking it.
They didn't really care.

I had one of those experiences last night.

Now, I'm not going to share said "friend's" name.
Nor what they said to me.

Just that it was a low, hard blow.
It was something that I have to admit, it hurt, a lot.
It made me sick to my stomach.

I know that nothing they said to me was true.
They were trying to hurt me , cut me down, and make me feel like crap about myself.

So here is what I have to say to others out there who are victims like me:

They said those hurtful things, because they're insecure about their own life . Because they are hurting.

So don't get revenge, and don't believe them.

They're hurting , so they think the answer is to hurt others.

My advise ?
Pray for them.

You know who you are. And it's not what they said about you.

I'm strong. But not because I am strong, but because I've got my Heavenly Father.
When I trust in Him, all my worries go away.
He doesn't promise us an easy life. But He does promise that He'll never let us walk alone. He'll always be there for us.

I cling to that, and let Him take away all those hurtful words that people use.

Love always,

  1. Friends, what a subject, how we learn from them.

I found my best friend when I was 27, and I had to go through a lot of friends to realize how to be a true friend and recognize one.

Sorry you got hurt, however you handled it so beautifully!

    1. I have a few amazing best friends and I am so thankful for them. I know they are true.

I just need to learn how to separate the friends, from the "friends".

      Thank you :)
