Youth group lesson

Hey y'all, sorry it's taken me so long to get this posted. It's been busy trying to get ready for company!

So here it is :

As the body  of Christ, we are called to live Christ like lives. That means we need to not be tainted by our corrupt world. 
What kind of examples are we being if we go out every Friday night and party? To catch the lost peoples attention, we have to be set apart from them. 
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. - Ephesians 4:29


Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. - Philippians 4:8

God doesn't ask us to be perfect. He just wants us to run after Him with all our hearts. 

15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness;and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. - Revelation 3:15-18

He longs for us to be on fire and passionate about Him. He knows whether our love for him is genuine or not, and honestly, the lost people can tell too. They can see through our act. So really, by putting on masks and being fake, all we're really doing is making the world think that all Christians are hypocrites.
So here's my challenge to you, love God with all your heart and strive to follow Him. That will help everything fall into place.
