Random what not

A story:

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said: 'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together. So th e doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?' She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.' The doctor
thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.' She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request. Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms. The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child! 'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.' The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point. He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

Can you spot the difference?

Yesterday was really beautiful. Especially last night. So I took some pictures on my iPhone. I apologize that they're not better quality, but I just had to share.

The sun setting while it rains.

My super bowl Sunday was spent at church in the morning and then at Ethan and Tori's house during the game, with Laina and my parents.

He would.

Monday and Tuesday were spent doing school and galavanting around the ranch with Laina. Oh how I love it when she's here!

Wednesday was the big day! (goes with the pictures of me up there)

I've had a lovely last couple of days. How about you?

  1. Awesome about getting your braces off! You look beautiful! Not that you didn't while you had them. But it must be a wonderful feeling when you look at your smile after getting them off and knowing it was all worth it. Jesus loves you!!

  2. so glad you are having good days :) and you look stellar without the braces, my friend!!

and thanks for your sweet comments about my breakup. i know things will look up, i've been through it before. still just not a very fun thing to go through, haha. but on the flip side of that, i'm glad that you are not letting micah hold you in the past. this first breakup i ever experienced was probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life, in all reality. I lost not only my boyfriend, but my best friend and I also lost a future that I had been super excited to explore. But that's the thing about life, you know, it's always changing and evolving as we face new challenges and meet new people. So glad to know you and share life with you :)

    1. Thank you!!

Anytime, my dear :). That sounds a lot like I was with Micah, but you're right things change. No need to freak about it. Doesn't make it any less hard though. I am glad as well!

  3. It's cool you weren't shy to show your braces in pictures. People who are sensitive to them always try to hide them and it makes it more awkward. Looking good girl!

    1. Smiling has always been my thing. I smile and laugh a lot, so there's no way I would have been able to not smile in pictures or otherwise for two years:).
      Thank you!!
