...deep in the heart of TEXAS!!
I have this as a bumper sticker lol |
Hahaha Okay, can you tell I'm full of Texas pride? Yesterday was spent at the Bob Bullock Museum in Austin. Let's just make it known right-now.. I'm in-love with history, there for museums make me oh so very happy! Especially when I have Laina by my side :).
The Bob Bullock is a Texas heritage museum *melts*. Y'all, I live in THE BEST STATE IN THE UNION. I feel sorry for those of you who have never even visited this lovely place. Let alone lived here.
For those of you that are Texans.. if you don't long for the warmth of summer( even though you know you'll be a puddle) in the winter.
Smile on crisp 50 degree mornings because they invigorate you.
Pray for summer rains because there's nothing more magical than dancing in the rain.
Are thankful for rainy falls because you know the beauty it brings in the spring.
and spend every moment possible frolicking in the sunshine on a spring day.. well you don't deserve to be called a Texan.
*sigh* I haven't a clue whether God has called me to always live in this great state, but I can tell you one thing.. You can take the girl outta Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl.
Shalom,
not that i have anything against texas, but i don't think it's the best state in the union. i'm glad you have so much pride for where you live, but don't forget that there are many many many other great places within our great nation.
ReplyDeleteHaha :). Oh yes, there are many other beautiful, wonderful places in the States (or in the world). This post is simply my opinion :)
