Christmas.
With Becky and her family here, and the arrival of Kt's speedily coming, it truly is starting to really feel like Christmas. Yesterday was spent in Bee Caves shopping for last minute presents. I was a little apprehensive considering that we had 7 people ( Mom, Becky, Kezley, Shelli, Ava, Tori, and I), but it turned out to be a lovely day. Having supper at Mandola's (super yummy Italian food restaurant.) I love Italian food, y'all.
The coming weekend shall be full of excitement. Saturday morning my cousin Leah is going to come spend some time with us. It's been a few years since I've seen her, so needless to say, I'm looking forward to it! The afternoon will be spent celebrating my friend Hannah's wedding. So happy for her! Kt's family will be arriving sometime that night, and then Christmas truly begins.
Sunday morning will be church, Pastor Michael (he also leads worship) asked me to lead Sarah McLachlan's version of "What Child Is This", so I'm pretty excited. If you know anything about me, that's my favorite Christmas song !
Laina's birthday is Saturday (the 15th), so since I'll be at Hannah's wedding, we're going to celebrate on Sunday by seeing the Hobit!! I'm a huge LOTR fan.. so this will be awesome!
Now that I have presents all bought, I'm allowing myself to relax and enjoy this time. Anyways, I know the true reason for the season, and it sure as heck isn't presents :)

Alana, i just wanted to say that you sound so much like me when I was your age. there are a lot of differences between us, but also a lot of similarities and you're posts constantly remind me of myself and how I felt in similar situations. I don't know everything that happened between you and Micah, but I do know that from what you've talked about on here it sounds a lot like what i went through with PC. All I want to say about that is chin up. I'm excited for you to go through life and live it beautifully! You seem to be doing such a great job already. :)
