Why is it that everyone is so black and white? No one thinks you're a real Christian unless you're judgmental and mean spirited, but when you are that way you're ridiculed.
Yesterday's sermon really spoke to me. Pastor Micheal was talking about how most people are either full of grace or full of truth, but the Bible tells us in John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
In other words, everything we say must have both. When someone is living in sin, you tell them what they're doing is wrong, but you don't condemn them. It's not about being mean spirited. It's about bringing the kingdom of God and being the Church.
Just some food for thought.
