I hate goodbyes, but sometimes we have no choice.

Today is my last day of childhood. My last day as a seventeen year old and my gosh that scares the crap out of me. I don't wanna be a big kid, I don't wanna!!

Anyways.....
When I turned 17, I made a list of things I wanted to happen... in  this post.
I'd like to respond to those aspirations.

1)Well, I can't say I have a clear view of what I want to do with my life, but I have some ideas, and I definitely know my identity a lot better than I did a year ago.

2)I'd say I have more lady-like moments at least...

3)I'm definitely more of an optimist.

4) Well... I finished my junior year.....

5)There will always be bad habits, but I've definitely put some of them behind me.

6)I don't always make time to spend with God, but I've gotten much better about it. I'm also better at praying about everything, and often.

7) This one is a constant battle, and some days are better than others, but I'll continue to fight.

8)I would say I'm a better me. A better friend, daughter, and what not.

9) Well, I've met a lot of people in a year, whose to say that I didn't meet my future husband?

Seventeen was a really great year. It was far from easy, and I went through many trials, but like the Word I got on my 17th birthday said, my year exceeded expectations.

I get the feeling that eighteen will be even better.

Here are some pictures to represent my 17th year on this earth.

NO MORE FREAKING BRACES

Abby's 18th!

Dang. I'm sorry I take so many freaking selfies..... I think I have a problem.. anyways.... that's a lot of my face... yeah. haha.

Bye, seventeen. You were great, but It's time I let you go and move on to bigger and better things.
