The day of thanks

I find myself in an interesting place, today. I'm thankful for all around me (or at least that's the idea), but I can't help but think about what started all this. The Pilgrams with the Native Americans. 

Is that really something to be thankful for? 

Sure, because of this, I live in a country with religious freedom (sort of) and so much privilege, but at what cost? 

The Europians came to North America and so began the genocide of the Native Americans. I don't think anyone's prosperity should be at the cost of anyone else.

Just some food for thought.
