My favorite moment...

I'm cheating on today's whatever wednesday post. The topic is : You're favorite memory from this summer. Well, I'm sorry, but I refuse to chose one moment. I can't. I will, though, stick to play related memories, because Willy Wonka was my favorite thing about this summer.

That time in the lobby where I was "trying" to catch Ben(He played Charlie). We spent a good 15 minutes with him dodging me around a table.

That Sunday rehearsal when Ocean and I were outside on the bench during break and I was laying on her.

Backstage with Wesley during either a run-through or an actual performance (I don't remember). Golden Age of Chocolate was happening on stage and he was playing the drums on my legs to the music.

Teaching Stone how to do "Jazz hands".

I have many more, but I'm going to stop there...

Oh I'm also going to put this:

All memories from when my sisters and their families were here. Family makes the best memories.

Y'all, I had an amazing summer. It was far from easy or perfect, but in many ways it changed how I look at life... how I think... how I see my future. That, my friends, is far from a bad thing. Summer 2013 rocked my world. I wouldn't change a thing about it!

How about you?

The Favorites

So Today on Whatever Wednesday the topic is: Your five favorite TV shows.

I'm doing my best to figure out what my five favorite would actually be..... I think I did it, but they are in no particular order.

1) Once Upon A Time, because what girl doesn't dig fairy tales?? I seriously love this show, and love Sunday nights because of this show. Someday... I will own it on DVD (hint hint).
2)Firefly, I really don't think an explanation is needed here.... I mean, I'm a sci-fi geek and this is quality sci-fi. PLUS since I'm a ranch kid, the western twist to it, really appeals as well.

3)Castle, I love this not only because Nathan Fillion rocks my socks off, seriously... I'll watch something just cuz he's in it, but because it's a great show. Fantastic humor, romance, and action all rolled into one.
4)Grimm, again with the fairy tales. I love the dark aspect to this show. Plus I'm pretty terrified about ever going to Portland... haha.

5)Eureka, I'm not sure I can put into words my love for this show. The characters feel like my family... (though if Niall Matter (aka Zane Donovan) was my family... I'd mourn... cuz he's really hot... I'd hate to be related to him.. haha ) I truely am part of this show. It's the only one of my favorite tv shows that I actually own seasons of (that WILL change), so that must say something about my feelings for it ;) haha.

So there you have it! Like I said, no specific order. If you haven't seen them... stop what you're doing and watch them NOW.

 What are y'all's favorites?

I don't appreciate what I have like I should.

No make-up and you know what? I don't care :)

"Push me Wanna!!"

Fun in the pool with Kezley and Becky :)

This weeks Whatever Wednesday topic is : Someone or something you take for granted.

I've put a lot of thought into this... and I think I'm pretty good about not taking the people in my life for granted, but I do take my life in general for granted.

God has blessed me with the beautiful ranch, the ability to grow up worshiping my God when and where I want, being home schooled, the list goes on.

I'm one of those people that largely lives in the future. I'm constantly planning/ thinking about what's to come. It's rare that I just live in the moment and take it all in.

I realize that this isn't good... because one day I'll look back and kick myself for not being thankful for the moment I was in.

The truth is, I have a great life. Is it a super easy one with no problems? Absolutely not, but it's a blessed life. I don't have the boyfriend I want nor am I graduated yet. I don't have my license and I don't see my friends as much as I'd like to. Papa isn't a Christian... but he is an active part of my life. My sisters don't all live close by, but they come to visit, and I can call or text them anytime I want.

My point is... everything won't always be rosey.... but this life I live? The life that God has given me to live? It's a really great one. I'm gonna work hard to not take it for granted as much.

What a time suck....

Today on Whatever Wednesday's, we're talking about things that we do WAY too much. I have a list.... because well.... I do several things too much.

1) Pinterest. I love it... it makes me laugh and be happy... but good grief I spend too much time drooling over tattoos and food.... and laughing at funnies... and longing for a wedding....

2) Day dream/ think. I spend countless hours either in a dream land (it really isn't healthy...) or over thinking to the point that I'm sick to my stomach and just wanna die.

and
3) Check my phone. I really need to make a rule that I can't check it unless I felt/ heard it, or I want to know what time it is. The phone checking only gets worse when I'm having a risky conversation with someone OR I'm willing someone to talk to me.

So yeah... that's me. What do YOU do way to much of?
If you would like to link up with Whatever Wednesdays, feel free to click the link above. It's oodles of fun ;).

Heartbreaking...

Today on Whatever Wednesday's we're talking about heartbreak. Now, it doesn't have to be about a guy who broke your heart or anything, just a moment in time... or something... that really hurt.

Mine is a subject that I've spoken on before... Becky and Kezley. It was a moment just a month or so ago, when my mom was leaving to go spend some time with them.

All I wanted was to be there. To hug my amazing big sister, and kiss my adorable niece's cheeks. I wanted to annoy the heck out of Becky by cuddling way too close, and watch Kezley dissolve into giggles when I "chase" her.

It's heartbreaking knowing that, that sweet girl is growing up without me there to watch. Knowing that, yes, I can pick-up the phone and call Becky whenever I want/need, but it's not the same as seeing the comfort in her eyes and getting one of those amazing hugs.

Kt will be here next week, and I'm so so so so excited about that. The only thing that would make this perfect though, is having Becky's little family here too.
